McMullin
McMullin is an Australian furniture and homewares studio founded upon the principles of modern simplicity and uncompromising detail. Born from founder Alice McMullin’s lifelong passion for considered, and sustainable design. McMullin aims to question how we move and interact with the spaces we live in and champions a movement away from the mass-produced to the unique and bespoke, producing premium quality, luxury items.
We were tasked with a full rebrand for the company. The scope included: a new brand identity and guidelines, a new website design and the oversight of it’s development, a suite of printed matter and digital collateral, as well as a naming and identity for a new sub-brand focusing on the community aspect of the company.
We really wanted to create a clean, sophisticated and spacious identity with interesting and unique details throughout. The hero logo references this idea through the use of a sleek upper-case san-serif typeface with custom ‘serif’ details on the letters ‘M’ and ‘N’. The website also follows this formula with spacious layouts that champion the brand’s beautiful products and images, paired with thoughtful typography and subtle graphic executions.
